Schmitt Law Firm announces the promotion of Nick Templin as partner. He has been with the firm since 2019 and focuses on representing plaintiffs in a variety of legal challenges including personal injury, wrongful death, and employment discrimination.
Lathrop GPM welcomes Christi Pribula to the firm’s Kansas City office and its trusts, estates, and legacy planning practice group as counsel.
Pribula helps high-net-worth individuals and families navigate the estate planning, probate, and trust administration processes. She has experience with private client trust administration, the Prudent Investment Act, Uniform Trust Code, non-judicial settlement agreements, and counseling clients planning for family members with special needs.
“Christi brings a wide range of experience in estate planning and administration to our team,” said Marya Robben, leader of the practice group. “She brings added value to clients, focused on both their short- and long-term goals, and will help bolster the firm’s estate planning practice in the Midwest.”
Pribula previously ran a boutique estate planning practice, Generations Law Firm, servicing Kansas and Missouri. The firm was founded to provide high-end, personal estate planning. In addition, Pribula spent more than a decade as legal counsel with the trust department of a publicly traded regional bank.
In November 2022, Pribula ran for public office, seeking to represent Kansans at the Kansas House of Representatives, in District 27.
Pribula is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas-School of Law in 2007 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Dakota, summa cum laude, with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology in 2003.
