Springfield

Springfield lawyer Nate Dunville was sworn in as the 2022 president of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association (SMBA) at the 48th SMBA Banquet and Installation of Officers. Dunville, a partner with Neale & Newman, LLP, is the 96th president of the local bar association. 

Dunville follows Thomas O’Neal as 2021 president.  As his final act as president of SMBA, O’Neal presented an award recognizing the outstanding contribution of Ben Shantz, an associate at Spencer Fane. 

2022 SMBA officers are Dunville, president; Jarica Oeltjen, president-elect; David Olive, treasurer; Laura Robinson, secretary: and O’ Neal, past president. 

The SMBA is the largest professional networking group in Southwest Missouri, serving more than 900 lawyers,  and was founded in 1903.
