Howard focuses his practice on estate planning and trusts & estates administration, advising clients throughout the planning and distribution processes. He prepares estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, marital trusts, powers of attorney and wills. He also handles developing various types of estate plans and the distribution of assets, as needed.

Howard also has experience distributing a wide variety of assets, ranging from simple probate estates to complex trust administrations involving a wide range of assets including ownership in businesses, financial accounts and real estate.

“We’re thrilled to add B.I. to our group of estate planning attorneys,” said Amanda Pennington Ketchum, the firm’s managing director. “He comes into the firm with experience providing top-quality service to Kansas City businesses. He will be a great fit into our firm’s culture and strategy.”

In addition to his private practice, Howard also served as a clerk at the Cape Girardeau County Prosecutor’s Office, where he assisted prosecutors with evidentiary review, drafted and filed court motions, and reviewed police statements for potential charges.

Howard earned both his legal degree and his undergraduate degree – in parks, recreation and sport, with an emphasis in sports management and a minor in business – from the University of Missouri.
