Greensfelder Hemker & Gale PC welcomes Neil Jackson and Steven Ahillen as associates. Jackson joins the construction practice group and Ahillen the business services practice group.
Jackson advises corporate and construction entities in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation. He represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and municipalities in construction, commercial, and real estate disputes in state and federal courts across the Midwest. He has experience working in a broad range of industries and sectors including construction, real estate, product liability, and technology. In addition to assisting clients in the preparation of claims and dispute resolution, he also negotiates and drafts contracts for construction projects.
Before joining Greensfelder, Jackson was an associate at a St. Louis-based boutique law firm.
Jackson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Ahillen advises clients on a variety of real estate matters, including transactions such as commercial purchase and sale agreements and development deals. His experience includes drafting transactional documents for the assignment of TIF and CID notes and redevelopment rights. Additionally, he provides counsel on entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and borrowing, cybersecurity, entity formation, and regulatory compliance matters. He has negotiated and drafted a variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including letters of intent, employment agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property licensing, loan financing, and shareholder and operating agreements.
Before joining Greensfelder, Ahillen served as an attorney at local St. Louis law firms, including as a litigator. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the Health Care Compliance Association, the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce, and the Planning, Services, & Housing Committee for Cardinal Ritter Senior Services in St. Louis.
Ahillen is currently completing his Master of Laws in taxation from Washington University School of Law. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in history and political science from Saint Louis University.
