The Lewis Rice Women to Women (LRW2W) forum hosted a bicycle ride along the Katy Trail Oct. 7 to support Women on Wheels, a World Bicycle Relief campaign to provide bicycles (Buffalo Bikes) to women and girls in rural or developing communities around the world. The event resulted in the donation of 23 bikes to women and girls in need.

“LRW2W is just one example of Lewis Rice’s commitment to diversity and inclusion,” said Sarah Mullen, vice chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee at Lewis Rice. “We are thrilled with the turnout from this important and fun event, and we’re honored to support an organization that is making a real and lasting impact in the lives of women and girls across the globe. We plan to host this event again next year and look forward to raising even more awareness about this fantastic organization.”

At Lewis Rice, LRW2W provides a vehicle to build careers through training, mentorship and networking at all levels. LRW2W is an important part of the diversity, equity and inclusion effort at Lewis Rice, and one of many initiatives that enables the firm to attract, retain and recognize some of the most talented legal minds in St. Louis.

Since World Bicycle Relief’s founding in 2005, the organization has delivered more than 594,000 bikes, directly impacting 3.5 million lives. Buffalo Bikes provide a way for people in developing regions of the world to overcome the barrier of distance in attending school, receiving healthcare and delivering goods to market.

Morgan & Morgan announces that lawyers Alvin Wolff, Jr. and Alexander (Alex) Wolff joined the firm on Oct. 15 to manage and expand the firm’s St. Louis office.

“We are beyond thrilled to have Alvin and Alex Wolff join our firm in St. Louis,” said Morgan & Morgan founder John Morgan. “They are pillars of the community in St. Louis, whose impressive track record of success and dedication in the area will be a huge asset to our clients.”

For over 95 years, a member of the Wolff family has been serving the St. Louis community. Alvin Wolff, Jr. and Alex Wolff continue the tradition of having a family member in St. Louis continuously practicing personal injury law begun by Alvin Wolff, Sr. in 1926.

“When John Morgan started Morgan & Morgan, he had the same mission as my father — providing dignity and delivering justice to those hurt by the negligence of others,” said Alvin Wolff, Jr. “With this opportunity to join Morgan & Morgan, we can continue the Wolff family tradition of representing the people of St. Louis during their hardest days with added resources and years of collective experience.”
