Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Colin M. Quinn to its Kansas City office. Quinn joins as of counsel in the firm's Business Litigation Practice Division. He brings extensive experience in construction law.

Quinn represents clients in construction, commercial and insurance disputes. He develops strategic discovery and trial tactics, leveraging industry knowledge to achieve favorable outcomes for clients in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

Quinn also advises clients on contract negotiations, lien waivers and other construction-related agreements to mitigate risk and prevent conflicts. He has substantial experience handling mechanic's lien claims in Missouri and Kansas, including successfully securing full payment, attorney's fees and interest for a client in a large-scale lien dispute involving 84 parcels.

Earlier in his career, Quinn worked as in-house counsel and project manager for a construction firm, giving him firsthand industry experience as well as valuable perspective and insight for clients involved in daily activities or facing complex construction-related challenges.

Quinn earned a J.D. from Washburn University and a B.S. from Kansas State University.
