Rimon PC is pleased to announce the appointments of St. Louis-based attorneys, John Finger and James P. Sanders in the capacity of Partners, in addition to the opening of the global law firm’s St. Louis Office.

“There is much untapped opportunity in the Midwest, both on the client and recruiting side,” stated Juan Zúñiga, Managing Partner of Rimon. “We are very excited to establish a location in Missouri with the addition of former Amundsen Davis partners, James P. Sanders and John Finger.”

A successful business owner and real estate developer in the St. Louis area, James P. Sanders hosts a diverse practice with areas of focus including commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, real estate development and litigation, and cannabis and alcoholic beverage law. He continues to serve as general counsel to businesses throughout the Midwest, addressing a variety of legal needs across corporate, transactional, litigation, and other professional disciplines. John Finger has over 35 years of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, emerging companies and venture capital investments, commercial transactions, international licensing agreements and joint ventures, corporate and business transactions, banking, and financial services, and has negotiated complex financings valued up to several hundred million dollars. John was notably named ‘Lawyer of the Year in Business Organizations (St. Louis)’, in the ‘Best Lawyers in America’ Index of 2020.

“I’m excited to join Rimon,” said John Finger on his move. “The firm brings to St. Louis a global team of excellent, experienced attorneys committed to collaborative work. I believe our clients will benefit from the quality and breath of practice of Rimon’s attorneys and their dedication to teamwork.”

James Sanders echoed the sentiment. “Rimon is an unparalleled, global platform of highly skilled and experienced legal professionals. The fact that this international law firm is now available to service existing and future in the Saint Louis/Midwestern market is a very positive development. We look forward to expanding the legal services that we offer to clients and the partners in Rimon’s Saint Louis office.”

Their Appointments and the subsequent opening of a St. Louis location for Rimon PC, a firm already hosting 48 offices around the world, comes fresh on the heels of the acquisition of the Silverman Acampora law firm based in Long Island, New York.

“Rimon has been in growth mode this quarter, having just announced a business combination with New York boutique, Silverman Acampora,” Rimon Chief Legal and Growth Officer T.J. Henry commented. “Attorneys are realizing that they can experience the collegial benefits of being part of a global law firm without having to be part of ‘Big Law’. Rimon’s continued growth trajectory is a testament to that.”

ACC STL members are giving back to the community in a big way during National Pro Bono Month, volunteering dozens of hours of free legal counsel and guidance, and volunteering for community services projects.

Patricia Duft, the 2023 ACC STL Pro Bono Chairperson, and Senior Legal Director at Medtronic, said that ACC STL members consistently step up and show up to provide much needed free legal counsel to underserved communities, families, and individuals.

"By giving back to the St. Louis legal community, we gain much more personally than we professionally give to the clients we serve by preserving access to legal services," said Duft. "This is the foundation of our legal framework."

During the past several years, ACC STL members have worked with many not-for-profits, including:

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri: ACC STL members have addressed a wide variety of legal matters for clients, including small business, real estate, and housing issues.

Supporting LSEMs Justice Speaks fundraising event.

Missouri Veterans Estate Planning Clinic in conjunction with the Missouri Veterans Commission office of legal counsel. Veterans and their spouses receive free legal counsel on simple wills, living wills, and power of attorney valued at $35,000 or less. Members gave pro bono hours for three clinics this year in March, August, and October.

Missouri Voter Protection Coalition: Members provided support to help citizens understand their voting rights.

Joining with Saint Louis University School of Law to sponsor Pro Bono CLE opportunities.

Operation Food Search, a local St. Louis area food bank.

Annual backpack/school supply drive for local schools.

“ACC STL members are making a real difference in the lives of people in need, and their commitment to pro bono work is truly inspiring,” added Duft.
