Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Evan Rodriguez to the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Rodriguez brings significant experience in the courthouse and with Missouri state government to represent clients in a variety of matters.
As former General Counsel to Missouri Governor Mike Parson, Rodriguez advised the Governor, while also assisting executive agencies with their legal matters. By the end of his tenure in the Governor’s Office, the Governor had appointed half of Missouri’s state court judges. He also has in-depth experience navigating the legislative process and working with policymakers.

Rodriguez clerked for Judge Duane Benton on the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Additionally, he has experience as a former Assistant Attorney General.
Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Laura Toledo to the Corporate Services practice group in St. Louis.
Toledo provides a broad range of services to business clients with an emphasis on financial services. Representing both for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises, she assists in successfully negotiating transactions to promote business development, as well as providing assistance through events of default or transaction distress.
She represents lenders and financial institutions across a wide range of loan transactions, including new, refinanced and restructured loans. Toledo also handles complex real estate matters on behalf of investors, developers and lenders, with an emphasis on commercial construction and multi-family developments, including tax-credit financed projects. Her experience also includes advising clients on troubled loan situations and navigating creditor, debtor and trustee representation.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Toledo was business law counsel at another St. Louis law firm and served as Executive Director of a not-for-profit organization.
