Law Matters, LLC, announces that Robynn D. Ragland has joined the firm as an equity partner as of May 1, 2024. They extend a warm welcome to her and her clientele. 

Ragland has over two decades of diverse legal experience in wealth management and estate planning solutions: core estate planning, business succession planning, and specialized planning for individuals, families, and multigenerational clients, including high net worth wealth transfer and preservation. Her experience also includes probate, real estate, business transactions, charitable giving, and intellectual property. She is committed to providing each client with personalized, concierge-style service. She also helps her clients in planning with unique assets such as copyrights, trademarks, patents, professional businesses, pets, horses and livestock, artwork and collectibles, oil and gas, and other unique income streams.

Ragland received her law degree from Washington University School of Law in 1992, and she remains committed to passing along her legal education legacy and supporting her community. She earned a certification from the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys in 2008. As a faculty member at St. Louis Community College, she taught courses in constitutional law. Ragland served as president of the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis in 2022-23. She is also a presenter at many estate planning workshops and educational seminars. 

Ragland is also a professional musician, recording artist, and songwriter, giving her first-hand experience navigating the legal labyrinth surrounding art and entertainment legal issues.
