Judge Kevin R. Kelly, municipal judge for Maryland Heights, was awarded the George Pittman Award by the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association (MMACJA) for long and meritorious service to the association. The award was presented during its annual conference this May at Lake Ozark.

Judge Kelly has served as a municipal judge since 1982, having served at various times in the cities of Breckenridge Hills, Cool Valley, Greendale, Hazelwood, and Normandy. He has served continuously in Maryland Heights since 1994. 

Judge Kelly served as president of MMACJA in 2001-2002 and has served on the board of directors since 1994. 

Judge Kelly earned his Juris Doctor in 1978 from Saint Louis University School of Law and is a 1975 graduate of Missouri Valley College in Marshall.

The MMACJA has over 300 members from throughout Missouri who serve as municipal and associate circuit judges. It has been in existence since 1965.
