Legislative update: May 31, 2024

In addition to the budget bills, 28 bills were Truly Agreed To and Finally Passed (TAFP) during the 2024 regular session of the Missouri Legislature. The deadline for the Governor to act on the TAFP legislation is July 14. 

The following is a list of all TAFP bills this session, which adjourned on May 17.

HB 2013: Real property leases, related services, utilities, systems furniture, structural modifications, and related expenses for the several departments of state government

HB 2015: Supplemental purposes for the several departments and offices of state government

HB 2016: Supplemental purposes for the Missouri Department of Public Safety and the Missouri National Guard

HB 2017: Capital improvement and other purposes for the departments and offices of state government (reappropriations)

HB 2018: Purchase of equipment; and planning, expenses, and capital improvement projects involving the maintenance, repair, replacement, and improvement of state buildings and facilities

HB 2019: Planning and capital improvements including but not limited to major additions and renovations, new structures, and land improvements or acquisitions for state departments

HB 2020: Purchase of equipment; for planning expenses, for capital improvement projects, including major additions and renovation of facility components, equipment or systems for state agencies (American Recovery Plan Act Appropriations)

HB 1495 (Griffith) Requires the Missouri Veterans Commission recommend and implement efforts to prevent veteran suicide

HB 1751 (Haffner): Modifies provisions relating to solid waste disposal area permits

HB 1803 (Thompson): Increases the limit on investments in linked deposits by the state treasurer

HB 1909 (Taylor): Modifies the meeting requirements for county political party committees

HB 1912 (McGirl): Modifies provisions relating to the taxation of pass-through entities

HB 2057 (Keathley): Modifies provisions relating to video service providers

HB 2062 (Brown), Establishes provision relating to a moratorium on eviction proceedings
